2 Injured in 3-Car Crash at I-5 HOV Ln Near Tacoma Dome

Tacoma, WA (September 26, 2025) – Two people sustained injuries in a three-car collision on Wednesday, September 24, along northbound Interstate 5 near the Tacoma Dome.

According to the Washington State Patrol, the crash occurred in the high-occupancy vehicle lane. Emergency responders transported both injured individuals to a hospital. Officials stated the victims are expected to recover.

Tow crews were called to the scene to remove the damaged vehicles. Authorities confirmed that all other lanes of traffic remained open during the incident.

Investigators continue to examine the circumstances that led to this multi-vehicle crash.

Car Accidents in Washington

Car accidents in Washington remain a serious concern for drivers and passengers alike. Busy roads see high volumes of daily traffic, which increases the risk of multi-vehicle crashes. Even when victims are expected to recover, the physical, financial, and emotional toll can be significant.

It’s crucial to consult with a personal injury attorney who has experience handling cases involving car accidents in Tacoma. Legal guidance helps victims understand their rights and explore options for compensation, such as medical bills, lost wages, and pain and suffering.

Common damages victims of car crashes may pursue include:

  • Medical treatment and rehabilitation costs
  • Lost income and reduced earning potential
  • Pain, suffering, and emotional distress
  • Ongoing care needs if injuries have long-term effects

Traumatic brain injuries (TBI) are often overlooked after a car crash, even if it was an apparently mild accident. The brain is a soft, sensitive organ, and even a low-speed impact can cause damage that affects memory, balance, or behavior.

Because TBIs may not show symptoms right away, seeking immediate medical care is essential. At Brain Injury Law of Seattle, we provide free consultations and work to ensure every client has access to both medical support and a legal strategy tailored to their long-term recovery.

Because of these wide-ranging consequences, prompt legal help makes a difference. Our seasoned legal team can gather evidence, negotiate with insurance companies, and fight to secure the compensation victims need.
